Sunday School Curriculum

FPC is starting an exciting new Sunday school curriculum this fall.  Here is information about it:  https://252kidscurriculum.com/

Sunday School during the Traditional Worship service (9:30-10:30am)

Care for infants and toddlers is provided in our Nursery in the Education Building. Please feel free to leave your children in our care beginning at 9:15 am.  Each Sunday the ministry of caring for your child may include playing with the children, reading stories to toddlers, comforting a child or cradling one to sleep, giving bottles or changing diapers as needed.

Children (pre-kindergarten through 4th grade) attend worship with their parents in the sanctuary beginning at 9:30 am.  After the Children's Message, they leave with their teachers for Sunday School.

Students are broken up into the following groups:

 Pre-Kindergarten through 1st grade

 2nd grade though 5th grade

Sunday School during the Contemporary Worship service (11:15-12:00 p.m.)

A single class for children ages 5 through 9 is offered after the Children's Message in worship.  Younger children (Pre-K-5th grade) can either stay with parents in worship or go to Sunday school while older youth stay in worship.

Every other year, 8th and 9th graders are invited to join the Confirmation Class.  The confirmands learn about God's story and what it means to claim that story as their own, both individually and as part of the church.  During this time, they attend classes, retreat, and a service project.  The next confirmaiton class will be offered during the 2019-2020 school year.
