MISSION STATEMENT
Fanwood Presbyterian Church is called by the Holy Spirit to grow our faith in Jesus Christ through joyful worship, Bible-based education, and prayerful service — to be a beacon of light to our community and to share His love through fellowship and ministry.
OUR BELIEFS
We the people
We believe Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior, through whom we are forgiven, redeemed and called to serve. Saved by grace, we become a servant people, gladly and gratefully offering ourselves in Christ's name. The Holy Spirit sustains and guides us, and brings us back when we lose our way.
We the Church
The Spirit of the Lord is present in Fanwood Presbyterian Church. FPC is a gift from God to all who believe in Christ, or want to believe in Him, and wish to share in His ministry. The church is our refuge and our strength, a safe haven for our youth, a spiritual home for our families where God’s wisdom, not worldly wisdom, is celebrated. Our church provides a loving family for all who are hurting, lonely, struggling or suffering in any way. We are emboldened by the Spirit to share the good news of Christ’s promises lovingly, enthusiastically, and thankfully. We are called to be Christ’s body in our community by connecting with others through evangelism, teaching His Word through education, and celebrating His love in worship and fellowship. |
