Members of the board of trustees should have knowledge of finance and accounting, maintenance procedures, where or how repairs can be accomplished, ability to recognize work that must be done, and a strong desire to help where physical needs of the church are concerned.
It is the responsibility of the board of trustees to advise the session and congregation on the management of the property of the church and to carry out the responsibilities designated to it by session.

The management of the Fanwood Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund, which entails the prudent investment of all cash gifts and determining the disposition of all other gifts of value, such as real estate, stocks, bonds, etc.

Administer the Scholarship Fund which is part or the Fanwood Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund
